In writing, I do a lot of google and other searches to find references for information I include. Sometimes I use books and periodicals. These references need to be footnoted. I would like to have a Firefox Add-on that would allow me to capture a web page address, add a topic keyword, perhaps add other keywords for future searching, and to capture quotes or my own notes. After recording this and while editing for publication, I would use the information in preparing footnotes and appendices. The tool would need sort and search capabilities.
I have a vague memory of having seen a description of a Firefox add-on that did all or or some of this reference organization, but I don't remember its name nor can I find it in the Add-ons web pages or by googling.
Can anyone help?

OneNotes should do what you want. It comes with the Home and Students version of Office.
I use it a lot in doing my Genealogy research.
