The screenshot shows a message that has just start appearing every time I hit the Firefox tab, though clicking the OK button opens the bowser without delay it is rather annoying so would appreciate a remedy as it is rather annoying. Dave.

Re: ERROR
It looks like there is a problem with the Avira browser add-on.
Make sure that you have the latest version of Avira. If that doesn't help, see if you can disable the Avira browser add-on.

Re: ERROR
I see that you have found the add-ons page. Click Extensions on the left-hand side. If you don't see Avira there, click Plugins on the left hand side. Post back if you don't see it there either.

OK, try the following (you may want to copy these instructions first):
- Close Firefox.
- Start Windows Explorer.
- Click in the address bar, clear its contents, then paste the following into it, then press Enter:
%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\R6Bow17Q.default\extensions
- Do you see a folder abs@avira.com ? If so, delete this folder.
- Restart Firefox to see if the problem still occurs.

Re: ERROR
Thanks Hans..........whilst waiting for your response to my post on 27th I hit the "Help" tab and one of the options was to use the "Refresh" tab then close Firefox down, which I did and the error message has not appeared since which is good but I have copied your instructions and saved them to my HELP folder for future reference just in case I need them. Thanks again Dave.
