Pin shortcut to Start Key [as shown]
Hi...for some unknown reason the "My Pictures" icon just disappeared from the right upper portion of the Start Menu list. How do I pin it back there please. I can't see any "Pin" option when I right click anything. Thanks Dave.

Right-click the Start button in the lower left corner.
Select Properties from the popup menu.
Activate the Start Menu tab.
Click Customize...
Activate the Advanced tab.
Scroll down the list until you see My Pictures.
Select 'As link' if you want a link to My Pictures in the start menu, or 'As link' if you prefer to see it as a submenu, as for 'My recent documents' in your screenshot.
Click OK.
Click OK.

Thank you Hans, good to know for future reference.... strange as it may seem, just now when I booted up the missing icon was where it had always been, can't for the life of me understand why it disappeared in the first place. Regards Dave.

Rebooting clears away a lot of problems... Glad it's back to normal now.
