I'm trying to create what I believe is a basic line chart. My X axis is Year and my Y axis are Amounts. The wizard is not automatically picking up the correct data for my axis(s). After I create the line chart do I need to manually format the axis data? Here's an example of my axis data and the line chart after the chart wizard creates it. As you can see in the completed line chart my axis data is different than what I had selected in my spreadsheet. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: Excel 2003 Line Chart
Right click on the horizontal axis, choose format axis.
Select the scale tab, set minimum = 2001, maximum =2009, major unit=1
Select the alignment tab, set text to 90 Degrees

Re: Excel 2003 Line Chart
What do you mean by "it's different"? The years are being shown as every two, and your amounts are being shown as every 50,000.
