I installed Robo Form 7.6.0.0, it included an extension/add on for Google Chrome. When I went to extensions in Chrome, I found that RF was there but unpacked and enabled.
My questions is how do you unpack the extension? I've never run into this before anywhere.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive & well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, red wine in the other, body thoroughly used up. Totally worn out & screaming "Wow, Wee What a ride!

Re: Extensions
You don't have to pack or unpack anything, it's up to the developer of the extension to do that. Just leave it as it is.
Best wishes,

Re: Extensions
I still don't understand how it can be used when it's packed. How can it be unpacked remotely. Did you mean that programs can use it while it's in that state? Or perhaps when it's used it wil automatically unpack. Please explain.HansV wrote:You don't have to pack or unpack anything, it's up to the developer of the extension to do that. Re: Extensions
Chrome supports two kinds of extensions
- "Unpacked" extensions consist of one or more source files such as JavaScript files (.js) and others.
- "Packed" extensions have been converted (not by you, but by the developer of the extension) to a special compressed format (.crx).
It's up to the developer to decide how the extension is distributed. Both will work, and there is no way, nor is there a need for the end user to either pack or unpack the extension.

Now I understand, in other words keep away from packed extensions.HansV wrote:Chrome supports two kinds of extensions
