In the other version we had a good description below each Forum Title, is it on the "To Do" list to add these?
I think they may it much clearer as to what was covered by what forum.

Re: Forum Descriptions
It would be very easy to add descriptions, but until now I only entered one for the Test Area forum. The idea was to keep the Board Index uncluttered.
What do others think? If many Loungers think it would be useful, we can add descriptions to all forums.

Re: Forum Descriptions
I think it looks good in its present, uncluttered form. The only one I wasn't sure about (and it may still be questionable) is whether the "Other Office Applications" was for stuff like Open Office or ONLY for other MS products. If that's to be the case, your could insert a "MS" just before the word Office (for clarity) and then move my OO thread to the following:
You might change the name of "Other Applications" to something like "Other Application Software" but that's not a big deal.

Re: Forum Descriptions
What got me to thinking (I know it was hard), was the thread about "Other Office Applications" http://www.eileenslounge.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=402" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Forum Descriptions
I've renamed "Other Office Applications" to "Other MS Office Applications" and moved Bigaldoc's OOO thread to "Other Applications".
Best wishes,
Hans

I have changed it to "Other Operating Systems".
(I suppressed the urge to make it "Other Operating System's" just to annoy you)

Re: Forum Descriptions
Operating Systems produced and / or provided by non-Microsoft funded sources would have worked also.
