Google search bar
On my former computer, I downloaded a tool that puts a small box in the upper right hand corner of IE that enables me to search the web by simply ty'ping into that box. On my current (new) laptop, such a box was preinstalled, but it is a "Bing" box (one that uses Bing, not Google). I want Google and tried googling it, but the only thing I find is the Google Toolbar, which has all these other features and not the simple Google search box. What is the name of that search box so I can figure out what i need to google to find it?
Regards,
JMT

Re: Google search bar
You can configure the search box easily:
Click the little dropdown arrow on the right of the search box. You can search for additional search engines and manage them.
I have set Google and Bing, with Google as default. But you decide for yourself of course.

As far as I know this is part of IE 8 and may even been there for IE7. There is NO down load other than the "Find more providers" when you select the drop down arrow. What is the name of that search box so I can figure out what i need to google to find it?

Thanks all. Is there a keyboard shortcut to get the cursor up there?
