I took this photo, from the top of Embsay Moor back in Sept 2011. It's not much to look at as a colour photo as the grey skies take it half way to B&W. Taking it all the way to B&W improves it no end.

BW seemingly gains popularity in these days of full colour and as you well know is often a feature of online image competitions. I despair at the many colour images viewed online that are over saturated ... obviously many folk like this approach so I must be 'the odd one out' trying to ensure that my images are as close to 'what you see is what you get'.
