And while we are at it, why "preparing" (presumably used as a gerund).
"Has King Charles III banned the use of the latinate preparation?", he wrote, using italics to express his preference for latinic sources?
And if you are using preparing as a gerund, ought it not to have a definite or indefinite article precding it?
