Yes, but in my defense you did not spot the error until well after I had drawn it to your attention.
I have amended that post.
PS How about Khawaja?!!???

I didn't know Eileen's Lounge had throw rugs.

Apparently, by burning the wood from old Spanish warships he's getting
50 miles to the Galleon.
Is the revival of a seven-year-old thread a record?
After all this time I would have expected a scientific discussion of the energy density of wood as opposed to petrol or diesel, and the relative efficiency of cars thus fuelled.
... pointing out the difference between the Noble British Gallon (now subsumed into litres) and the American gallon, to say nothing of the Spanish gall[e]on.

I didn't respond previously because there are so few cricket fans here. However, this was a good story.

It's a start.
On a minor point, I have always thought that using champagne to hose the sweat off sports jocks doesn't do much for the quality of the champagne, or even the shampagne.

One uses champagne for one's real friends, and real pain for one's sham friends.

An interesting chiastic / antimetabolic quotation probably originating from 1791, or just before. See Quote Investigator.
Ignore the fatuous suggestion in Wikipedia (and elsewhere) that it was by Francis Bacon (1909–1992) or the American musician Tom Waits (born 1949)!
