That's debatable, especially as my handy harpsichord insider has mentioned on more than one occasion that persuading a harpsichord to stay in tune is no mean feat. He never goes near one without a tuning hammer in his pocket.
Meanwhile, the joke still works if you were to throw a harpsichord down a mine shaft.
