Re: email stuck in OUT folder
Reboot and then delete the email before it starts sending it again

If you have Office 2010 or later:
- Activate the Send/Receive tab of the ribbon.
- Click on Work Offline.
If you have Office 2007:
- Select File > Work Offline.
Now try deleting the message from the Outbox.
If you don't succeed, quit Outlook and restart it after 10 seconds or so.
Then try to delete the message again.
If you managed to delete the message, turn off Work Offline!

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
Following up on Dave's question, what is the best way to send short (or long for that matter) video files? Is ZIP an alternative?

Put them in your OneDrive folder, share the file and send the recipient the link Onedrive generates.

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
There are lots of different services that will allow you to send large files. OneDrive is a good example, but you can also use Google Drive, and others.
I have used both https://wetransfer.com and https://tresorit.com/ and they work well.

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
Dropbox also lets you store files in the cloud and share a link, and it has a Transfer service.

See Message stuck in Outbox.
You can skip methods 1 and 2. Start with method 3.

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
Pleased to say I right clicked on the Outlook folder, selected the Troubleshoot compatibility and followed the directions which seemed to perform a repair function and what became two issues are resolved so thank a lot guys. Must explore the Dropbox option again which I seem to remember having used in the distant past. As much as is possible I wish you all a prosperous new year. Thanx Dave.

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
The available storage space for GOOGLE MyDrive is 15GB, while OneDrive is 1TB.
After a bad issue with lost data with Dropbox, I won't go anywhere near that service.
YMMV.

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
I shall add my zwei pfennig complaining about Dropbox.
Some months back I dropped my old ISP after engaging a new one. I used the domain name of my old ISP in my email address that was associated with Dropbox. I forgot/lost the password I used with Dropbox. The password recovery process requires that you use the email address which is no longer valid and doesn't work with the new ISP which requires its own domain name in passwords. I contacted Dropbox and offered to provide any kind of ID they needed and was told, basically, to pound sand. Their suggestion was to contact the old ISP to ask for a one-time use of the old email addy which, of course, was refused. All of the data that I so securely placed in Dropbox is now not available to me.

Re: email stuck in OUT folder
Isn't the 1TB space dependent on purchasing a subscription to Office 365? I believe the FREE storage limit is only 5GB.
