Save a copy in my account email address
When sending an email from Outlook 2007, I know that it saves a copy in my Outlook sent items folder. How do I get it to save a copy in my account email address?

What exactly do you mean by that? How can one save an e-mail in an e-mail address?
Best wishes,
Hans

If you want to automatically send a copy of all emails to a particular email address then you can set up a rule:
Code: Select all
Apply this rule after I send the message
CC the message to email.address@domain.com

Hi Hans and StuartR
Lets say that me@ababenchrist.com is my email address that I added to my outlook 2007 email account. So now whenever I send an email from my outlook using this account me@ababenchrist.com it seems to only save a copy to my sent items folder in outlook, I was hoping to also save a copy to my me@ababenchrist.com main mail box.HansV wrote:What exactly do you mean by that? Where is your me@ababenchrist.com main mailbox? On the web? If so, Stuart's suggestion should do what you want.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Save a copy in my account email address
I think you will find that if you send a copy of an outgoing email to yourself, it will be downloaded from your web-based mailbox the next time Outlook connects.
This in itself is not a problem, but you will then find you have three copies; one in your Sent items, one in your Inbox, and one on the web. If you then decide to delete the (surplus) copy in your Inbox, be aware that if your Outlook settings are to delete downloaded emails, you will automatically lose the copy in your web mailbox.
