Re: What Bridge Am I Standing On?
Graeme, if you tell me where you were yesterday, I'd be able to help you with the name of the bridge.

Rudi

Prize goes to Paul!
Here's the view looking North into Charing Cross Station:
This section of track is not closed to traffic very often so it's a view that not many people have seen, unless you're a train driver!
And yes, it is more South than West, I stuck with the theme of East and West along the Thames! But the river has a sharp right meander here.

I'm lost?
According to your image the Golden Jubilee is in the position to capture the second shot of the London Eye and in your first image is Waterloo bridge in the distance...
I cannot see Hungerford bridge on Google maps?

Re: What Bridge Am I Standing On?
Zoom out a bit Rudi and you should get this:
They built the new pedestrian walkway Jubilee bridges on either side of the old Hungerford rail bridge. I was about where the red circle shows.

Ordinarily not, the walk way is just for maintenance. We were working in a possession which is quite rare for this section and so worthy of a photo and a post in the Puzzles section!HansV wrote:I didn't know one could stand/walk on the Hungerford Bridge...
This is a bit further back by Waterloo station:

I think we were being given the a-bridged version...
