- the top email which the person has composed is correctly spaced (when pasted into Word 2010, Line and Paragraph Spacing, Indents and Spacing, Spacing, has Before: 0 pt and After: 0 pt)
- all of the earlier responses below have Before: Auto and After: Auto, and these values, in terms of gaps between lines, seem to increase with each response lower down.

I use Outlook 2010 for emails, and of recent months I have noticed that when I have an exchange of emails with someone, and have just received a email:

No, I can't find any way of dealing with the Auto spacing on the first and subsequent 'replies' in an email, so I've given up unless I come across something.
