Hi,
I have a HD with a partition that shows on bootup but then disappears after running for awhile. I can see he folders and files but when trying to copy it to another HD or open the files nothing happens. I'm concerned that the HD is either going or has bad sectors. Is there a utility to able to either determine this or at least copy the files?
Thanks!

Some utilities to check your hard disk's health:
HDDScan – free HDD diagnostic utility (also see their Data Recovery for Dummies: simple way to rescue your files)
Acronis® Drive Monitor™
