That was quick
Ctrl-Shift-N at https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/crea ... windows-10
Chris
As a keyboard junkie I have long been in the habit of Alt-F, New, {Folder} in File Explorer. That option seems to have been removed from my grasp.
Typically I would select a set of files (Ctrl-A), cut them (Ctrl-X), ..., make a new folder (Alt-F,N,<Enter) and then paste (Ctrl-V)
The screenshot above shows no sign of an N for New.
Nor does tapping the N-key bring help from hidden depths.
Is this facility gone? Is my Win10 corrupt? Or should I tweak a registry entry somewhere?
Thanks
Chris

It's not on the File tab, it's on Home

Thanks Stuart!
(Now, let me hazard a guess: It has been Ctrl-Shift-N since Windows 3.1 and for thirty years I have been laboriously using Right-click, F, N ...)
Cheers

You can also use ALT, H, N in File Explorer. If you are not on the File tab you need to press ALT twice. ALT activates the tabs, H selects the Home tab, N select "New Folder".

You might want to look at Keyboard shortcuts in Windows for an extensive list of keyboard shortcuts for various Windows versions.

I have saved this page for light-reading sometime in the future!
I am down to my last 37 saved pages regarding Win10.
Cheers
