I copied a few OneNote files to my laptop from the desk top. Some of the files on the laptop are flagged as being Synced.
I would like to know how to remove the setting for these sync's?

Try this:
- Select File | Info.
- On the right hand side, click View Sync Status.
- Click Work Offline.

Yes, that turns off the syncing temporally, but the file is still flagged as to be synced.
I do NOT want it to be syncing period. The original on the desktop is not set to be synced.

Re: 2010 OneNote File Sync
In the Properties, I had to change the location to the source (it self) so there was NO location to sync to.
Thanks for the link, it got me to thinking, which is dangerous.
