Virginia earthquake

Post by DaveA »

Stolen from a friends Face book page
The United States Geological Society has determined that the epicenter of the Virginia earthquake was in a graveyard just outside Washington, DC. The cause appears to be all of our Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves. Apparently, it happened along the "It's Your Fault" line that runs from the Capitol Building to the White House.

Actually in a graveyard? Not several miles beneath?!

It's a joke, John. Some license is allowed, even the inconsistency of the graveyard being in Virginia while the fault line is in the District of Columbia. Got a big chuckle out of me.

Republican Party Questions: Why didn't Obama prevent the earthquake in the first place?

On a very scary note, our folks in New Mexico were on a live VTC meeting with our HQ staff at Fort Belvoir, Virginia during the quake. It was surreal to watch the meeting stop while participants wondered why their building was shaking, then the call to evacuate before the meeting ended. Listening to their PA system announce the events was a little weird.

BREAKING NEWS:
President Obama has just confirmed that the DC earthquake occurred on a rare and obscure fault-line, apparently known as
"Bush's Fault".

Obama also announced that the Secret Service and Maxine Waters continue an investigation of the quake's suspicious ties to the
Tea Party.

Conservatives however have proven that it was caused by the founding fathers rolling over in their graves.
