ISS and the Moon

Post by Leif »

"The brief moment the International Space Station passed between myself and the nearly full moon. Captured January 4th, 2023. Since the moon was nearly perfectly overhead, the station was at it's closest to Earth, making it's size about the largest possible relative to the viewer. This gives a detailed look at the silhoutte of the station."

Neat :clapping: :clapping:
In isolation, the ISS appears to be orbiting the lunar surface.
Cheers, Chris
