The outdated machine is a news article about eliminating the fax machine.
I read it.
Halfway down the page you will come to an image of a clerk with a waterfall of paper:- This thumbnail doesn't do it justice, but a close look at the full-size image as shown on the web page suggests to me that the lady is eye-balling a source listing rather than (as the article focus runs) some sort of medical report.
Unless, of course, it is a Settings dump of System Status.
Thanks
Chris

That is a stock image from Getty Images. I am sure you're right about what it shows.

Re: Isn't this a computer program?!!???
Thank you, Stuart. I had not noticed the credit for "Getty" (but then I wasn't looking for that).
It seems odd to me that an article purporting to be about a flood of facsimiles sweeping the country couldn't find a nearby medical installation with an overwhelming flood of facsimiles seven inches high.
There again, I suppose it takes less time to grab a stock image of output from a chain-printer than to send the reporter out with a photographer, perhaps two vehicles, travel and meals expenses...
I hope that your eyes were not good enough to spot the incorrect use of HIGH-VALUES in the COBOL procedure "Calculate-Travel-Expenses"
Thanks
Chris

Never seen one.
I do have a collection of receipts spanning 945 days from Foodland, and that's a fax!
Cheers
