Puzzle Pics

Post by BobH »

These photos and the one that preceded them confuse me.

Can anyone tell me what the mounds are made of? My guess is that some subterranean water under pressure came through the surface and deposited mounds of fine silt, but the structures look almost glass-like. Without vulcanism, I don't believe that there could be any igneous deposits.

Hi Bob

I suspect that water is still bubbling through the mounds and giving them that "aero interface" look
