As promised in post 20204 I have to advise anybody likely to be driving in the northern half of the UK that stuckling1 passed his driving test about 30mins ago.

Congratulations to Stuckling1, and good luck to animals, children and elderly people in Northern England!
Best wishes,

Re: health warning
Well done to Stuckling1, thankfully there is still the Great North/South Divide and the Kentish people can feel safe knowing that there is still Passport Control at Watford and the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge

Please advise stuckling1 that a North UK driving license is not valid south of Birmingham.

No, it's because my work involves people AND computers, do I need to spell it out further?

Congratulations to the lad - but keep him well away from the central area of York, Walmgate and the Hull Road area from 9th-17th July!

Re: health warning
Ah!! The memories. 't has only been slightly north of half a century since I was in stuckling1's position, and I still remember what the day smelt like!
Give him my heartiest congratulations!
And, send him over here to Texas. We have places in the western part of the state where he can drive all day and never see another human. AND, we'll teach him to drive on the right (as in 'correct') side of the road.
