"Imagine pulling up your wheely chair to a desk with six monitors - two rows of three - stacked together to make one mega-monitor. You fire up Batman: Arkham City and your entire peripheral vision is taken over by the drab streets of Gotham - you're so into the game you might as well be the Dark Knight himself."

For a long time at work I made do with a 17" CRT. Then I added a second 17 CRT and wondered how I ever managed with just one monitor.

Now I have two 22" wide screen LCD monitors and at times last week when I wanted to write an email about a bug in the development version of our db so I was referring back to the db while comparing output from the dev version and live version in two instances of Excel, oh and Explorer was running too I found myself thinking three monitors might be handy

Work just expands to fill the screen space available

Yeah.
But there again, knowing what we know of you, Hans, we probably wouldn't notice much difference here on Eileen's lounge!

I am now using 3 monitors at work and 2 at home. The two at home is almost always a waste, but the 3 at work make it easy for me to be available in all the software I need. Running Remote Desktop on the middle, IE on the left, and Outlook and Skype on the right. (The reason I am using IE is that is what our customers use and I need to prove web pages work)
I am sure I could get by with 2 moitors, but 1 would be about as painful as a root canal.

Just my 2 cents :overclocking:
Who will you Inspire today?

Well, say it is miserable weather in your area; why not use this new Cloud computing and beam all the images straight up; then you could see all 5 monitors wherever you were?
