Stop Outlook from creating new contacts

I am on a new version of Outlook in MS 365 Apps for Enterprise that appears to be spontaneously creating contacts with the names and email addresses of contacts that I have emailed.

I consulted the following help page: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/out ... 010584f10a. However, the answer it espouses deals only with how to turn off "Use Auto-Complete list to suggest names." What I am interested in is stopping Outlook from creating new contacts.

AFAIK, Outlook does not create contacts automatically. There must be an add-in or macro to do this.

My only add-ins are the Zoom add-in. I am not aware of any macros.
