Re: Update: Firefox 43 released
Some information re the 64-bit version.
If you want to install the 64-bit version I recommend uninstalling the 32-bit version first, then install the 64-bit version. Uninstalling should not remove your Firefox profile (location where user data such as bookmarks is stored), though it is a good idea to backup your profile first - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ba ... x-profiles" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Extensions should work in the 64-bit version, but the 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows currently recognizes and supports only the Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight plugins*. In the long term Mozilla will be phasing out support for plugins, with limited exceptions such as Flash.
*Mozilla have added 2 plugins to support the openH264 video codec and to support playback capabilities for DRM protected media.

Version 43.0.1 has been released today (18 December 2015); apparently a quick bug fix.
Best wishes,

Re: Update: Firefox 43 released
It's now 43.0.2
It includes some security/stability fixes, and updates Firefox to use a SHA-256 signing certificate for Windows builds, to meet new signing requirements. Some blurb on that here - http://windowsitpro.com/security/your-o ... rtificates" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Update: Firefox 43 released
I used to be on the Firefox beta update channel and got updates about once a week. I switched to the release channel for updates once every 6 weeks, or so I thought...
How long till 43.0.4?
