I have discovered today that the AutoCorrect list established for Word2000 is shared with Access 2000.
Deleting an Autocorrect entry in Access 2000 removes its use in Word2000 at the next load.
I very much doubt that there is a way to separate these two partners in grime, but if the is a way I'd love to hear about it.
For my immediate use I'll have to use an abbreviation other than "TCOC" in Access, and I can live with that, but in future it would be awkward dealing with a client's database where they had to use "TCOC".

Re: Autocorrect shared with Word (Access2000)
ALL Office applications share the same AutoCorrect lists, not just Word and Access.
Best wishes,
Hans

As, of course, does Word2003 with Excel2003. Now that I have rigged up "A3" to expand to "Audacity 3.1.3", I shall have to do my calculator calculations in column B.ChrisGreaves wrote: ↑29 Jun 2010, 15:47I have discovered today that the AutoCorrect list established for Word2000 is shared with Access 2000.
