The code works without error for me if the text file is found.
If the text file is not found, the code still tries to close it. I indicated two ways to get around that in a previous reply.
Label run.

Re: Label run.
Ahh yes, hans.. i see where i went wrong there.
right at the beginning there's a IF FILE EXISTS.. then
and the END If was moved up a bit, rather than to the end where it belongs.. its why i never had that error before.
anything else i can try to make it print the rest of the the labels, and not just the first one ?

Oh, and set the 'Display When' property of the Detail section to Always, otherwise it won't be printed!

Re: Label run.
ahh i was wondering why i was getting blank..
its now printing all three labels, but i get a completely blank label after each one.. which i suspect is something to do with label size.
printing labels with access is a truly painful experience.. nothing seems to work as it should do!!!

Re: Label run.
You'll have to fiddle with the page settings to get that right. I cannot help you with that - since I don't have a label printer, I can only open the reports if I allow Access to use the default printer.
You have to look at
a) The width of the report as a whole
b) The height of the Detail section
c) The settings in the Margins tab of the Page Setup dialogue.
d) The settings in the Page tab of that dialogue.
e) The settings in the Columns tab of that dialogue.
