Hi,
When I created this doc, I started using the autoline feature where you type three equals signs and auto correct converts it into a double line across the page. It worked fine in the doc, but now I have uploaded the doc to our sharepoint site and when I open it from sharepoint (as an html), it creates these double lines whenever I use any type of paragraph tools, line bullets and numbers, etc. See attached pic.
How can I prevent this double line feature from messing up my doc. (BTW: I cannot even delete it when it appears...) Where do I switch it off. TX

Click the Office button, then Word Options.
Click Proofing in the navigation pane on the left hand side.
Click AutoCorrect Options...
Activate the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
Clear the check box labeled "Border lines".
While you're here, you may want to turn off other options too, but that's up to you.
Click OK.

By the way, the lines are paragraph borders, you should be able to remove them using the Borders button on the Home tab of the ribbon.

Hans, TX.
Why I never thought of it, but the borders button did the job! I selected the bullets and when I go to the borders button and select none, the lines disappear. Cheers!
