url won't work as a link

I have just changed my email host. I had a link to the old host's cPanel http://www.lakeedge.biz/cpanelthat used to work in Word 2007. The new host's url http://cpanel.lakeedge.biz/ will work if pasted into the browser's address bar, and works here, but will not work as a link in Word.
Anyone know why?

Thanks for the thought Leif, but didn't work. Well it sort of did.
Same as before; I get a security dialog saying The identity of this website .... cannot be verified. Do you want to proceed? I have been clicking yes and get another dialog saying can't do it. This time I selected the 'View Certificate' button and then installed it. Could then go to the site. Tried again and got the same options, seems the certificate being installed didn't stick. Sure don't want to have to go through all that every time.
Actually, I tried installing the certificate again, but although it said success, an error dialog came up sort of saying can't go there.

That site is using a security certificate that identifies it as *.zuver.net.au, zuver.net.au not as *.lakeedge.biz
The error message is because your browser thinks this could be a scam. It is almost certainly a configuration error at the ISP, but there is little you can do about it.

I have copied your reply to the web host. It'll be interesting to see if they can do anything.
