Find and Replace

Post by BobH »

Is it possible to set a Search/Replace process such that the replacing word has different font attributes like size and color? I have a largish document that I must edit to remove first and second person reference. Searching and replacing pronouns will give me a jump start but I will have to carefully edit the results and changing font attributes would be a good way to ensure the changes are grammatically correct. By reverting the font changes after corrections, I should be able to tell if I've checked them all.

 :chocciebar: :thankyou:

Hi Bob,

You can.

Access the Find/Replace
In Find, type the word to find (if necessary, ensure you have "Find whole words only" ticked)
Place the cursor in replace box
Click Format
Select font
Set the attributes to replace the find words with
Click replace all (or replace one at a time)
