I'm contemplating purchasing Office 2010 - Home and Student Edition (which doesn't include Outlook of course). I'm currently using Outlook 2007 (which uses Word 2007 as its editor), and I want to keep Outlook after I install this version of Office 2010.
Has anyone had experience with the combination of Office 2010 Home & Student and Outlook 2007? Will Outlook 2007 use Word 2010 as its editor? If not, what sort of functionality will be lost or what types of problems may I expect? I've searched for information regarding this combination but I've not been able to come up with anything.

Outlook 2007 doesn't really use Word 2007 as e-mail editor; it has its own editor that is based on the Word editor. So it should be possible to keep Outlook 2007 with the same functionality as before.
Best wishes,
Hans
