Win7 and MS Excel

Excel2000 Win7

Further to an earlier question.

MS Excel now can only be opened in Windows7 Safe Mode. I cannot get it to open in Win7 normal mode. Just started a few days ago, had been very good up until then.

Any ideas or configuration I should look at while it is opened in Win7 safe mode ?
