Expanded Lounge Display?
Recently my accessing the Lounge has resulted in an expanded display that uses up way too much screen space. Is it my system? [Firefox 3.6.10 under Windows Vista Enterprise Service Pack 1 (build 6001)]

Re: Expanded Lounge Display?
Does the problem persist if you refresh the browser, or if you close and restart it?
(I don't have this problem in Firefox 3.6.10 or Internet Explorer 8, on both Windows XP and Windows 7)

Does a similar problem occur on other discussion boards using phpBB, for example phpBB • Community Home?

Try emptying your Firefox cache - it usually acts as a universal panacea for me!

Re: Expanded Lounge Display?
Did you install a new add-on or extension (or a new version of an existing add-on or extension) shortly before the problem started?
What happens if you temporarily disable all add-ons and extensions?

Hard to tell, I have many. Is there a way to find out when an add-on was installed?HansV wrote:Did you install a new add-on or extension (or a new version of an existing add-on or extension) shortly before the problem started?
Started Firefox in Safe Mode, alles gut. Now to track down the offender.HansV wrote:What happens if you temporarily disable all add-ons and extensions?

Not really, you'd have to look at the Extensions folder under your Firefox profile.Sundog wrote:Hard to tell, I have many. Is there a way to find out when an add-on was installed?

Deleted the first 22 add-ons, problem went away.
Next try half of those, etc.

Re: Expanded Lounge Display?
Forex Currency Converter is the culprit. Disabling this add-on removes the problem, re-enabling it causes it to come back. I have uninstalled it.

I posted a review indicating the problem, but I don't see it on their board yet. Maybe it's being moderated?Leif wrote:You may wish to report this as a bug - they appear to encourage details of any problems...

Re: Expanded Lounge Display?
Quite likely. Or maybe they need to convert it into their local currency before they can read it...
