Microsoft's "permanent license" version Office 2024 will be released later this year (2024).

LTSC is for large corporations, but there will also be a consumer version.
Microsoft also promised that there will be at least one further release of the "permanent license" version.
Note that Publisher will no longer be included. Microsoft intends to retire Publisher in 2026.
