Trying To Update Corel PDF Fusion
I have been trying for a couple days now to update Corel PDF Fusion if an update is available. I keep getting the error message you can see in the attachment. I have no idea what "check your proxy settings" means so I keep trying again later with no luck. I have no problems with connecting to the Internet so I don't understand what all this means. What can I do to get past this error message? Thanks

This appears to be an old and known problem...
PDF Fusion: Check for Updates gives error, unable to connect to internet, check proxy.

Thanks Hans. I will check out your link as soon as I post this. What amazes me is before I posted here< I called Corel support and they said they had to create a case number and get back to me. What a support team if this problem is old and well known. Thanks again.HansV wrote: ↑09 Aug 2024, 19:17This appears to be an old and known problem...

Re: Trying To Update Corel PDF Fusion
Well I may be confused but the way I see it, the only thing I can compare after opening the Corel PDF WEB site is the version number. I don't see any build number. Also it seems I have a newer version, 1.14 than the one offered at that site, 1.11. I think I made a hugh mistake purchasing Corel PDF Fusion. Please see attachment.

Re: Trying To Update Corel PDF Fusion
As expected, I am getting nowhere fast with Corel PDF Fusion. It really seems that I may already have the latest version installed and it is from 2017. I keep asking and I am not getting a direct answer so, I tried one final time today and will have to wait till tomorrow to probably still not have them say they have no version more current than my 7 year old copy.
I have not had a lot experience with editing or creating PDF files so I am wondering if anyone here uses Word to edit or create PDF files. If so, does it open all PDF files allowing you to edit them if they are not protected?
