Add-on Icons for Toolbar

Post by BobH »

I've just wasted a half hour trying to find this information on the 'Net. I should have known to come here first, eh?

I have a password generator add-on in Firefox but I can't invoke it easily. I'd like to have an icon link for it on my toolbar; but when I follow instructions to Customize Toolbar, the list of available icons doesn't include the pw generator icon. I can't find a way to add it to the pool of icon options or to install it directly on the Fx toolbar.

Can anyone tell me how this is done or point me to a wiki?

 :chocciebar: :thankyou:

Which password generator have you installed in Firefox?

According to that page, the extension should add a favicon to the toolbar automatically:

Are you sure that you do not see it in the indicated position?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the "Password Generator Pro & Custom Web Search" extension?
