Close all apps

For no apparent reason and not having changed any settings, if I have e.g two web pages open but with one minimised, if I click the cross at the top right of the page to close the current window a drop down box asks if I want to close all apps. This has never happened before so mystifies me and is irksome. Any suggestions as to why this has suddenly began to happen. [Using Firefox] Dave.

It's not "close all apps" but "close all (browser) tabs".
If you want to disable this, simply click "Don't ask me again", then click "Close all".

Wondered if ticking that box would do the trick but long since learned that random ticking boxes can spell trouble, THANKS yet again Hans. Dave
