I have 2 laptops same make but different models. Both use Firefox and they are synced.
Why has one a green tick but not the othr?

Apparently the green check mark stands for "Google Guarantee". I have never seen any website with a green check mark in Google's search results.
I have no idea why it is displayed on one of your devices but not on the other.

I have just found the source of the green tick. I replaced Malwarebytes for :-
