Way of saving some temporary tabs across logoff/logon

It's rather a whimsical question, but is there any accepted way of saving various tabs for Firefox across a logoff/logon sequence? These tabs are the two "home page" tabs, plus a number of "temporary tabs" which I haven't had time to access before bedtime.
Next day, I will want to access and delete those temporary tabs.
I don't want to go to the faff of saving them as bookmarks...

I thought that if I just left Firefox open when logging off, it would recover the tabs when next it restarted - but this way certainly doesn't work across a Windows Update forced restart...!

Isn't that what the 'Open previous windows and tabs' tickbox in Settings | General | Startup is for?

It may well be - I've never encountered that setting before, and it wasn't ticked on my Firefox.
I will investigate later today or tomorrow - thanks!
