I was just in an Outlook contact when I pressed something on the keyboard that made the contact disappear. It is no longer in my Contacts. It is not in Deleted items. I tried searching in All Outlook Items., but the deleted contact is not there. Is there some kind of shortcut that causes an item to be deleted permanently without a trace while you are in a contact and trying to edit it? I am aware of shift + delete to permanently delete an item that is selected, but it does not work to permanently delete an item that is open and being edited (it only works if you select an item).
What I was trying to press was left ctrl + a to select all in the Contact's Notes field. Apparently I typed some other shortcut. It seems there is a command on the left side of the keyboard, near left ctrl + a, that I accidentally typed.
Outlook contact seems to be permanently deleted

Ctrl+D ?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Outlook contact seems to be permanently deleted
I don't think it was ctrl + d, but if it was, it would move the item to my deleted items folder. However, the item appears to have totally disappeared. It's not in deleted items. It seems there is some kind of permanently delete shortcut that I am accidentally typing.
