 The next Mission Impossible movie, starring Chris Greaves as Ethan Hunt.
Travel costs will be horrendous, unless I bring my supper-time book with me ...
Cheers, Chris
PS. Yesterday I discovered that there used to be a Bonavista airport, but they closed it, perhaps because it was in Catalina not Bonavista.
There is a Clarenville Airport "CCZ3". C.

Is this the abandoned airport, north of Little Catalina?

Speaking of abandoned airports...

If Chris is going to star in the next MI film and the script requires the use of the Space Shuttle to get him to my part of the world in a hurry then that won't be a problem. There's an abandoned airfield (Elvington) not far from my house which, allegedly, was a designated emergency landing site for the shuttle.

I don't know if I'm pleased that such a landing never took place, because that would mean the crew were close to death or if I'm sad that I never got to see the shuttle fly over my house.

Hi Hans. Yes, I believe so.
The flight to UK/France would still be a 23-hour journey there, 36+ hours back.
Even if I could find someone to save me the 10Km bicycle ride to Little Catalina, weather permitting, there would be the cost and delay in boarding the helicopter to St John's, and then it's either the expensive Private Jet route, or same old slog west to Toronto just to slog all the way back East again.

I'm grounded! :weep:
Cheers, Chris
P.S. Plus: factor in the cost of having someone herd the sheep off the runway. :nope:

And the alternative to the shuttle flying over your house was ...?
