Is it time to master Group Policy (Editor)?

So I thought to be a Good Boy and institute a periodic task with Task Scheduler to create a Restore Point at 1900 hours every day.

Now Win11 doesn't object that my admin user "ChrisAdmin", like my standard user "Chris076" has a null password. I just click "YES" whenever admin privileges are required, and switching between the two users does not require a non-null password.

But dear old Task Scheduler insists that the admin password be non-null. Legacy code, I suppose.

Two (Three?) years ago I dug in my heels at, I think, Group Policy Editor.

Should I Grind my Teeth and Gird my Loins and start using GPE for periodic tasks such as creating restore points, or running data backups?
If so, I commit to taking that course of action.

If you are using a Home SKU of Windows, group policy is not available.

Just because you active Gpedit on a Home SKU and change settings that does not mean those settings are used in the Home SKU. Some will work and some won't.
