I doubt it - Madeira wine is fortified.

It seems many here are not fond of heights but this skywalk is a very popular tourist stop. So popular that there are turnstiles to limit the number of people that can get onto the glass bottomed platform at any one time. Fortunately it wasn't that heaving when we were there so the turnstiles were not in use and we could enjoy the view.
