going to work

I had to go to work yesterday. As in, get in my car and drive to the site and be in an office. First time I've done that in, no idea, a long time.

As compensation for this trauma, the early morning sun through the woods was very pretty.

It seems they do, at least the ones that host my employer do. There weren't many people on site though, I had no trouble getting a parking space near the door.

The 'commute' a pleasant 15 min drive through woods. When I was making that trip twice a day every weekday I often took my camera and pulled over if the light made something look good. The sheer novelty of doing the trip for the first time in ages made it seem like a good idea to grab my camera as a I left my house.
