Unusual Display

Post by Percy Vere »

Hello, my Win10 Laptop gives this image when I connect my Mobile Phone. (With nothing connected, all it shows is C: + D: Drives.)

My Laptop does not have a Disc Drive. Any reason for this?

That drop down list must a feature of your browser - apparently it suggests the subjects of your earlier threads. It is not a feature of Eileen's Lounge.
Best wishes,

That Ajax error occurs from time to time; we don't have an explanation for it.

Typically you get this error when either there is a bad physical connection - i.e. the cable and/or connectors - or you do not have the correct drivers installed.

Does your neighbour's phone connection work in their PC?
What happens if you try your phone in your neighbour's PC?

And have you checked you have the correct driver(s)?

My neighbour is not technically minded and does not have a computer. Both phones do not have internet capabilities.
I have mailed Doro, last time I did so they took 4 weeks to reply.

I think internet connectivity is irrelevant to the issue you are facing.

This is the reply from Doro.

The "Please insert a disc into usb drive" is a typical Windows error and it is likely not related to your Doro phone. In order to solve this issue, we suggest to try different USB ports, to disconnect other USB drives or to follow some typical procedures that can be found on different websites (e.g. Fix the ‘Please insert a disk into USB drive’ error). https://www.diskinternals.com/partition ... isk-error/
