The old "revision accept/reject" dialog box

Post by New Daddy »

You have to be using Word for over two decades to remember this, I think.

Word used to have this "revision" dialog box, in which you see who made the revision when and can choose to accept/reject the revision one by one.
For me, it was an efficient way of going through the revisions because often you want to see who made then change and when.

Is the dialog box forever gone?
Or can you still bring it up by running a macro or something?

Does the following do what you want?
- Click the dropdown arrow at the right hand side of the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).
- Select 'More Commands...'
- Select 'All Commands' from the list of Categories.
- Scroll down and select 'Accept/Reject Changes'.
- Click 'Add >>'.
- Click OK.
- You'll see a new button on the QAT.
