Original disappears after Forward

Original disappears after Forward

I have a client that is running Outlook 2003 and is NOT on Exchange. When forwarding a email, the original disappears. It is NOT in the Inbox or the Deleted folder.

Is there a setting that removes the original when forwarding?
I am so far behind, I think I am First :evilgrin:

Select Tools | Options...
Click E-mail Options...
Click Advanced E-mail Options...
Is the check box "Save forwarded messages" ticked?

Hans, I read Dave's issue is that the original message disappears after it is forwarded.

Dave, also check to see that there's no filter applied to the Inbox, and although this is so obvious that you have probably already checked, make sure the user is in the Inbox and not in the Unread Mail 'Favorite' Folder

It turns out that the party was in the "Unread" folder and as soon as a reply or Forward was done, the email was removed from that folder, but was in fact in the "Inbox". They were just looking at the list from a different angle.
