I finally broke down and put a shortcut to the folder “C:\Users\Chris069\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\Recent” on my desktop.

Note that I can open JPG files, MDBs and folders.

Not sure why you would want a shortcut which points to a folder full of shortcuts?
(Some of these are shortcuts to other shortcuts!
Thus they would have to be described as 'longcuts'...)

If one shortcuts a shortcut, doesn't that make it a very shortcut?
Best wishes,

I seem to have about a dozen projects of various types on the go at any one time. Movies, books, essays, VBA stuff, images etc

I wrote an MRUse handler in MSW which works fine, and allows me to leap mto almost any used file from within MSW, which functions pretty much as my desktop.

I noticed a few files that weren't in my list, so grabbed the "recent" folder for a form of backup-goalie.

I *hate* spending hours, well, ok, seconds navigating up and down folder trees.

Cheers
