I'd love to join you, but my intolerance of chocolate makes it hardly worth the trip. Do you think they would do toast and Marmite with my cup of tea?

I doubt that Marmite is readily available in Vienna...
Best wishes,

Oh ye of little taste faith: Marmite in Wien

I don't know what to make of this old post though: Improved "Marmite" in Vienna - but it looks like it's been available there since 1920...

I could never remember the order. I knew it was vitally important to put one in before the other, so years ago I hit on a scheme whereby I put a bit of the milk in the mug, poured in the tea, then added the rest of the milk. I figured that way I got some of it right.

Actually, now that you mention it, the nice lady at The House Of tea on Yonge Street told me the temperatures for all the different types of tea I was buying. It seemed like a lot of work to remember each temperature (degrees F and all) each time I wanted a cuppa.

I suspect that it's a bit like wine cognizants. If you're really into it, it's a lot of fun, but otherwise "let's have a glass with dinner, eh?".

My main thrust here is to avoid having to wipe spill-overs when I'm making tea of coffee at home.

Shouldn't "right at the end" be "close to the end of page 1"?
Also "bag"? BAG?

Thanks Rudi.
I did that.
Then I had to get up four times per night to pee.
So I took a sleeping tablet to help me get through the night.
Now I am awake again ...
Cheers

It was a very week brew!

Truth is I have just had a goof-off week, taking a break from retirement, and prepping for my 5,000 Km tour of Newfoundland.
Read a lot of good books, but.
Cheers
